Gluten-Free Keto Cupcakes
Quick and easy gluten-free keto cupcakes! Found a package of Birch Benders cupcake & cake mix and frosting on clearance at Kroger the other day. Four simple ingredients, stir and bake, super easy! I only wish I had some raspberries, blackberries, or strawberries to add on top! They were very good, moist, light, and hit the mark because I was looking for a quick sweet treat, yum! My husband has been eating a keto diet for years, but I rarely do this diet with him. I will say though that a lot of items on the keto diet crossover to a gluten-free diet. A keto diet is high in protein, and low in…

Restaurant Review: CoreLife Eatery!
Eating out for the gluten intolerant just got easier! Doesn’t that picture look amazing and fresh! CoreLife Eatery is a great way for those with gluten issues to eat out as you get to pick what ingredients you want for your dinner and they organize everything based on the particular way you like to eat. I wanted to try a new place for my birthday this year and the family and I went to CoreLife Eatery. I was amazed at how everything was set up to allow for whatever your diet restriction/preferences are. I had never heard of CoreLife Eatery until this year! Click here to see an interactive menu where you can…

Bai Antioxidant Infusion Drinks – Gluten Free!
Ever tried Bai drinks? I recently discovered this Bai Antioxidant Infusion Drinks at our local Kroger and I’m in love with this flavor, Brasilia Blueberry! Great blueberry flavor, infused with antioxidants, and if you do not like straight water, this is a great alternative! I recently watched this show called Billion Dollar Idea and it is about CEO Ben Weiss who picks roughly 10-12 entrepreneurs from all over the country who compete against each other to receive up to 1 million dollars with an investment from himself. Well, Ben created Bai Drinks and since I feel the same way he does in terms of looking for products with simple, natural ingredients, I wanted…

Book Review: The Paleo Kids Cookbook
I wanted to review this book, The Paleo Kids Cookbook written by Jennifer Robins because the Paleo Diet is kind of a back-to-the-basics with food that eliminates processed foods and grains and tries to mimic the hunter-gatherer diet of the early cavemen (Paleolithic period). A gluten-free diet can be very similar so I wanted to share this resource if it is something you may be interested in. This book was written in 2016 so it is several years old but it is very useful I think because it is geared toward kids and when you have kids that need to eat gluten-free, it is hard enough just trying to find options for them…

KIND Nut Bars – Quick Protein Snacks!!
Kind Nut Bars! I love simple, gluten-free, quick protein snacks, and these fit perfectly! Cranberry Almond is my personal favorite, but they have so many options you are sure to find one you like! I look for snacks I can eat in the morning when I’m in a hurry, or as an afternoon snack, and these Kind Nut Bars are great for that, as nuts provide protein, which can curb hunger and help you feel fuller. Daniel Lubetzky created the product brand Kind, and if you watch Shark Tank at all, you will find him on there sometimes! He wanted to make a delicious, nutritious fruit-and-nut bar, and Kind was born! What’s cool…

A Quick Gluten-Free Meal Your Kids Will Love!
Check out this quick gluten-free meal that your kids will love! Who doesn’t like burgers and fries? Try this version, gluten-free style, using Butterball turkey burgers and Ore-Ida Waffle Fries. You can fix them, however, your kids like their hamburgers, so many variations, and it only takes about 30 minutes to cook. Great for dinner when you don’t have much time in the evening and something that your kids will actually eat! Now turkey burgers have a history of being very bland and not having much flavor, but these are ‘original seasoned’ which adds a good amount of flavor to the burger which helps. They also come in sweet onion seasoned and natural…
