Book Review: Kids Cook Gluten-Free

Busy Gluten Free

What a great book for kids! Kids Cook Gluten-Free is a very colorful, brand-new (published in 2022) cookbook for kids that have to eat gluten-free. Very well illustrated, with easy instructions for kids and lots of variety of recipes for kids with all tastes!

Written by Kelli and Peter Bronski, who are the co-founders of No Gluten, No Problem, this is a very easy-to-understand cookbook for children who have to eat gluten-free to allow them to cook for themselves and have fun doing it!

This cookbook has basic information about cooking and cross-contamination, normal kitchen terms to help explain basic recipes, tools, and utensils, plus over 65 recipes broken down into easy categories whenever kids want to give a recipe a try.

They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, sides, and dessert recipes with very clear directions in terms of the ingredients needed, kitchen utensils needed, and the time it takes to complete the recipe.

I especially love the great pictures! I am a food photographer in training so I love great pictures of food!

Also, they have reminders in the recipes for example to make sure you use an oven mitt to take something out of the oven as children may forget this step in the heat of the moment (pun intended lol)!

Overall, a great cookbook for kids! I highly recommend it and if you are short on cash, I found this at the local library, but it also can be found at Amazon by clicking below (paid link):
