Dollar Tree Has Gluten-Free Products!
I was just out the other day, in town, and stopped at the Dollar Tree to pick up something and thought I would search to see what gluten-free snacks I could find there as well! Surprisingly, there were many gluten-free Dollar Tree finds!
As you probably know, Dollar Tree is a store that offers products at really low prices ($1.25 for each item – unfortunately inflation caused it to go up recently as it used to be $1 per item). They have all kinds of products such as housewares, cleaning supplies, school supplies, party supplies, foods, drinks, toys, gifts, health and beauty, books, craft supplies, and even seasonal decorations all for $1.25 each! They have a great selection if you are looking for inexpensive items on a budget.
I usually shop for food or drink items when I’m there but occasionally I am looking for a gift bag for a party I’m going to, or even seasonal items to decorate the house. If you have a Dollar Tree store nearby, you should stop in, you will be surprised at all the good finds! They advertise on their website that they have weekly deals, new items, and in-store specials as well. You can access their website by clicking here.
Doing some research on Dollar Tree and just realized they own Family Dollar too! Didn’t know that huh, I will have to go to a Family Dollar as well and see what gluten-free foods and drinks I can find there! Stay tuned…..
I immediately found two gluten-free snacks, one is pictured above and one below. Never heard of the two brands though so did some research on each one.
MadiK’s
The first is a company called MadiK’s. They are an almond company based in California and have been growing almonds for over 50 years. They have almonds in many varieties such as natural, roasted, salted, hickory smoked, sea salt, and even salsa! Looks like they are coming out with a line of chocolate clusters as well, yum! I thought the hickory-smoked were very good and just enough in the bag for a serving so you don’t eat too many, as I am prone to lol. You can purchase them on Amazon by clicking here (paid link).

Good Health
The second is a company called Good Health, parent company Utz. They are a snack company that started here in the United States back in 1921 in Pennsylvania. They exclusively make snack foods like chips, pretzels, popcorn, snack mixes, pork rinds, and potato skins. I tried their Veggie Straws (pictured above) and I loved the flavor! Quick and convenient when you are looking for something healthier than your average chip. If you want to check out what they have to offer, you can go to their website by clicking here. You can purchase it on Amazon by clicking here (paid link).
Dollar Tree Website
Lastly, just wanted to share a few tidbits I found out about the Dollar Tree website and how you can search online. They have a category labeled, ‘Food, Candy, and Drinks’ and once you click on that, you can break it down even further. They have spices, condiments, and canned fruit and meats all of which have a great chance of being gluten-free, but always check the labels. After going into the specific category you are looking for, they have an allergen section as well where you can check a box and it will search for those items that contain gluten so you know to avoid them!
Found a few well-known gluten-free items you could pick up for snacks at the store or otherwise below are Amazon links where you can purchase these (paid links):
Bumble Bee tuna packets (lemon pepper, spicy Thai chili, and roasted garlic and herb)
La Sierra Refried Pinto Bean pouches
Chicken of the Sea salmon pouches
Honey Nut Cheerios Cereal packets
Harvest Snaps Parmesan Roasted Garlic Green Pea Snack Crisps
Candy, gum, and mints (check out my blog post about gluten-free chocolate candy brands by clicking here!)
And many, many types of chips, popcorn, tortilla chips, and cheese snacks!
Overall, I found some great gluten-free Dollar Tree finds! Plus, even more, you can order online rather cheaply. Check them out when you get a chance and know you do have some options when you are looking for some quick snacks while out shopping!
