Sometimes you just need some pizza! And after working all week, last Friday I decided it was going to be a gluten-free pizza night – Dominoes! When I am feeling like pizza, I head to Domino’s because I want a hot, Domino’s gluten-free pizza made especially for people like me with gluten sensitivity. Now they have this information all over their site, but they recommend anyone with celiac disease NOT eat this or anything they offer due to cross-contamination. Hello! My name is Jennifer and I've been gluten-free for 13 years now. Shortly after the birth of my second child, I had stomach issues nonstop, headaches, hives, anxiety, and a lot of brain fog for the better part of a year. I went to see an allergist, a naturalist, and an herbalist. I tried many elimination diets, used tons of herbs, and still couldn't figure out what was wrong. I tried eliminating dairy and yeast and finally tried eliminating gluten. Hallelujah!! After a few months, I felt so much better. I did at the time see a GI doctor and had my blood tested for celiac, but he couldn't tell me with 100% certainty if I did have celiac because I had started eating gluten-free a month earlier and there was nooooo way I was going back to feeling horrible, so I consider myself as having non-celiac gluten sensitivity and haven't eaten gluten ever since.
