Linguine and Meatballs…Gluten-Free Style!

Busy Gluten Free

Yes, pasta is possible being gluten-free, in fact, there are a ton of options! I love pasta, almost mourn it sometimes lol…but there are many choices when it comes to gluten-free pasta nowadays as opposed to when I first had to start eating gluten-free 13 years ago. Linguine and Meatballs gluten-free style for instance! Available pasta options are made from food such as corn, vegetables, chickpeas, brown rice, and even multigrain (where they combine different flours into one). Those are just some options but bottom line, check the packaging of each item to make sure it is in fact gluten-free just to be on the safe side.

This gluten-free pasta was simple and easy to make, took less than 10 minutes! It’s called Caulipower Linguine and to be honest I couldn’t even tell the difference from when I was eating regular pasta years ago. It has a great texture and taste and doesn’t fall apart easily (like corn or brown rice pasta will). Add some frozen turkey meatballs like FarmRich Turkey Meatballs and it’s even better! These just heat up in the oven or microwave with a resealable bag so you can make as many as you want and still have more later. Really good flavor to these (I actually snacked on the extras over the next several days after making this they were so good!). Top it all off with a gluten-free pasta sauce like Classico Family Favorites Traditional and some parmesan cheese – Kraft makes a good one or if you can grate your own even better! Bon Appetit!

I found all these ingredients at my local Kroger store, so check your local store for these items, or if you can’t find them, I have included links just by clicking on the words below to Amazon, Walmart, or Kroger where you can purchase them.
