Gluten-Free Turkey and Swiss Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Busy Gluten Free

Yes! You can still have a grilled cheese sandwich even having to eat gluten-free! So quick and easy and there are so many varieties, just depends on what you prefer! Such a favorite by kids and adults alike, comfort food for all occasions.

Be creative! Whatever you like on a grilled cheese throw it on there! Only takes about 10-15 minutes and you are eating! I added turkey, swiss, and avocado to this sandwich. I like mine a little toasty too so it’s nice and crunchy on the outside, and gooey in the middle. Yummy…

Rudi’s Gluten-Free Homestyle Original Bread is a favorite of mine. Not really thin or thick, average size (for gluten-free bread that is lol), and great for sandwiches. I also added Happy Farms Swiss cheese and Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Mesquite Smoked Turkey Breast.

I found Rudi’s bread in the freezer section at my local Kroger along with the Oscar Mayer deli meat which was in the meat section. The Happy Farms cheese is from Aldi’s and as far as I know that is the only place it is sold.

Think of all the possibilities! Ham and Swiss, just a plain grilled cheese sandwich, or add tomato, bacon, onions, you name it! I’ve even heard of adding fruit to them too, just depends on what your favorite is. Click here to go to a simple step-by-step recipe for how to make a grilled cheese sandwich. I like to add pepper and garlic powder to the bread after spreading the butter on to give it a little more flavor.

Gluten-Free Turkey and Swiss grilled cheese sandwich, try it out for yourself! This is a great, quick dinner or lunch for kids as well. Have some french fries with it or maybe soup if your family is in the mood for soup. Progresso makes a great tomato basil soup that is gluten-free which goes great with a grilled cheese sandwich.
