Gluten-Free Kroger Ham

gluten-free Kroger ham

Absolutely looooove the smell of ham cooking in the kitchen! It reminds me of family and home and holiday gatherings! Well, Easter was just here and as usual, Kroger has their hams on sale for so cheap! I bought two (I froze the other one it was such a good price!) 12-13 pound hams, pre-sliced with a honey and spice glaze..yummy! The best part, these gluten-free Kroger hams are normally $35-$40 and I got them each for under $10!

These are fully cooked hams and really only require warming up. It took about 2-3 hours to warm up at a low setting. Again, they are already sliced and really require no maintenance. Just take them out of the bag, set the glaze packet aside and lay it in a roasting pan with a lid or some foil and bake!

Super easy and doesn’t require much effort at all! Just bake it while you are doing something else, and a half hour before it’s done, take it out and make the glaze to go on it which just requires a tablespoon of water and a saucepan to heat up. Then bake for another half hour after you brush the glaze on and you are ready to eat!

I paired the ham with Idahoan instant garlic mashed potatoes and some Kinnikinnick dinner rolls! So quick and easy! You can purchase the Idahoan Roasted Garlic mashed potatoes on Amazon by clicking the link below (paid link):

This is perfect for any family gathering or in this case, we make the ham to eat all week! You can eat it in so many ways, on sandwiches, chopped up with some fried potatoes, in an omelet, or even making ham salad with it!

Kroger usually has these on sale over the holidays of Easter and usually Thanksgiving and Christmas. Keep an eye out for them a week or so before the holiday to get the best price. Of course, they have them as well all year long, but the best bang for your buck is over the holidays.

Of course, there are other gluten-free ham brands besides Kroger’s such as Smithfield and Honey Baked but click here if you want to see a list of them on the Celiac.com website.

I hope this shows you how easy this is and how you can feed your whole family even if they have to eat gluten-free.
