4 Ingredients Gluten-Free Cookbook Review!

Busy Gluten Free

What a great find for quick, easy, gluten-free recipes! Check out this cookbook for those with gluten intolerance, 4 Ingredients Gluten-Free! Only 4 ingredients in each recipe, with over 400 recipes in total!

Apparently, I have been living in a cave because I was unaware of this cookbook OR that there is a series of cookbooks called ‘4 Ingredients‘ (I counted 28 on their website)! Authors Kim McCosker and Rachael Bermingham created this cookbook, 4 Ingredients Gluten Free, and are from Australia. They created this specific cookbook due to a family member who was gluten intolerant plus whenever they would talk to their fans, they always asked, do you have a gluten-free cookbook using only 4 ingredients? So glad they did too because I am amazed at how many great recipes there are!

Condiments and Dips

Tons of different condiments such as mayonnaise and tartar sauce, salad dressings such as blue cheese or balsamic vinaigrette, cheese dips, hummus, and guacamole, and even a hot fudge sauce and cinnamon dip for your sweet tooth!

Breakfasts

Traditional breakfast recipes such as pancakes, french toast, or omelets, quick breakfast ideas such as muffins, parfait, and toast, plus an apple fritter recipe as well!

Light Lunches/Sides

Everything from soups, quiches, pizzas, salads, quesadillas, and even calamari and wings! Sides such as potatoes, rice, beans, and every kind of vegetable recipe imaginable!

Main Dishes

The main dishes are broken down into sections like different kinds of meat (chicken, beef, pork) as well as pasta and vegetarian dishes. Recipes for snapper, lamb, steak, shrimp, and even alfredo and a macaroni bake!

Desserts

Saving the best for last, tons of dessert recipes that are entirely gluten-free! Recipes to make apple crumble, cheesecake, panna cotta, truffles, cookies, cakes, and one that I would like to try soon, macarons! I am a big fan of Gordon Ramsey so when I watch his shows and see the chefs make macarons, I wanted to know the recipe thinking it can’t be gluten-free though, but I guess I was wrong!

Odds and Ends

They have several additional sections at the back, one for children’s recipes, drinks, and even a section for babies and toddlers!

Overall, so much to try and I can’t wait to get started on a few recipes! I will be making 2 in particular out of the 4 Ingredient Gluten Free cookbook so stay tuned, I will post about them!

If you want to see the full line of their cookbooks, please click here to go straight to their website.

Additionally, when I went to their website and signed up, I was immediately given a download for four recipes from their new book, 4 Ingredients More Gluten Free Lactose-Free cookbook!

If you are looking to get this great cookbook, you can probably find it at your local library (like I did!), a bookstore, or you can purchase it on Amazon by clicking here (paid link).
